أكد والد الشهيد محمد يوسف، حسين يوسف في تصريح له خلال تشييع الشهيد سوف “أنني أفتخر بابني الذي مات كشخص طاهر ومظلوم وشريف”، مشيراً إلى أنه “باستشهداه وحد كل اللبنانيين”. واعتبر أن “ما عشناه اليوم ليس تشييعا بل عرساً وطنيا أعتز وأفتخر به”.
