Au contraire my friend, this has nothing to do with being a Aounist (and trust me I’m not). This has to do with being Lebanese. It’s actually anti Lebanese to label someone Stupid Aounist, as in a civilized society everyone is entitled to their opinion and point of view. An answer such as yours is completely meaningless and promotes hatred in a time where unity is essential to our own existence.
Donno how old you are, but it is naive to forget what the Syrians did and keep doing to Lebanon, their stance on it as a country, and I’m not sure how you’re suggest solving the issue of 1.5M Syrians in Lebanon, most of whom are un-educated and cannot support themselves financially. This is a great disaster to Lebanon economically, demographically and even ecologically.
This is not about being humanitarian or not, this about existentialism for us
as a culture. It is naive to think otherwise.
