Minister Hamadeh: The government will fulfill its duties

 

Telecommunications Minister Marwan Hamadeh said that the Lebanese government is fulfilling its duties to preserve the well-being of the state, and that it will not refrain from taking whatever measures necessary to achieve this goal.

 

“The decision of the government to begin an exceptional parliamentary session is a normal step aimed at facilitating solutions,” Hamadeh told the Saudi daily Al-Yawm.

 

The government decided to adopt a draft constitutional law aimed at amending the constitution and beginning an exceptional parliamentary session.

 

“Its measures will also help elect Army Commander General Michel Sleiman as president,” he added.
