Ossama Bin Laden accuses Hezbollah leader of hypocrisy
Al Qaeda leader Ossama Bin Laden slammed Hezbollah and its Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah over accepting the deployment of the UNIFIL troops South Lebanon.
“UNIFIL troops were deployed in 2006 to protect ‘Jews’,” Bin Laden said in a recording broadcasted over internet.
He also accused Nasrallah of hypocrisy.
“How could he accuse the pro-government party in Lebanon of being a US tool, and say in the same time that Iraqi Sheik Mohammed Baqir Al-Hakim, who had banned Iraqis from fighting US troops in Iraq, is a martyr ?” wondered Al-Qaeda leader.
UN troops were deployed South Lebanon according to UN Security Council Resolution 1701 which ended a 34-day military confrontation between Israel and Hezbollah.
