Minister Marwan Hamadeh: no privatization before the election of a new president

 

Telecommunications Minister Marwan Hamadeh said that the government does not intend to privatize any economic sector, including cellular phones, before the election of a new head of state.

 

After his meeting with high ranking ministry officials, Hamadeh expressed his appreciation for all sections at the Telecommunication Ministry.

 

“In spite of all the difficulties, the ministry has become a main source of funding for the Lebanese treasury,” Hamadeh said in a statement.
