Mufti Qabbani: The Karantina explosion is a barbarous act

 

Lebanese Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Qabbani said that the attacks against diplomatic bodies and UNIFIL troops in Lebanon are a message from the terrorists.

 

“The explosion at Karantina is a clear sign of the dangerous situation into which Lebanon could enter,” he said.

 

Qabbani received a phone call from US Ambassador Jeffrey Feltman, who is leaving Lebanon, to apologize for cancelling a planned visit to Dar Al-Fatwa due to yesterday’s urgent circumstances.

 

Mufti Qabbani expressed to Feltman his strong condemnation of the terrorist attack against the US Embassy car and wished him good luck in his next diplomatic mission.
