Lebanese Customs seizes 38,300 kg of pure cocaine

 

The Directorate of the Lebanese Customs succeeded in seizing 38,300 kg of pure cocaine packed in 766 plastic tubes hidden in wooden boards imported from South America.

 

 “The load that was distributed in two containers was seized at Beirut Seaport,” a statement from Lebanese Customs said.

 

The operation was conducted in cooperation with Lebanese army intelligence services.

 

“The specialized section of the ISF was notified, and all those implicated in Lebanon were arrested. An investigation is ongoing.” the statement added.
