Geagea For White House Talks in March

Lebanese Forces Leader Samir Geagea will hold talks with U.S. President George Bush”s administration in Washington early in March.

 

The daily an-Nahar said Geagea would make the several-week visit to the United States at an “official invitation.”

 

The Lebanese Forces leader would hold talks with officials at the white house, the state and defense departments and the National Security Council, the report added.

 

Geagea also would meet other U.S. officials tasked with the Lebanon situation, the report added.

The visit would also include calls on members of the Lebanese community in the United States.

 

Geagea visited France in 2005 and was received by former president Jacques Chirac.
