Bank Looter Arrested

Police arrested a thief who held up Byblos Bank branch in north Lebanon Wednesday.

 

The suspect, identified as George Elias Nussair, was arrested at hotel in the northern coastal resort of Amsheet along with his mistress, identified only as Hala.

 

Police found with the suspect the 60.000 dollars in cash, which he looted earlier in the day from the Byblos Bank branch in the town of Bishmizzine.

 

The bank”s deputy manager, Mary Abi Farah, was slightly wounded in the 9 am robbery, police said.

 

The bank”s surveillance camera snapped an image of Nussair and police managed to identify him though he was masked.
