Hariri: Feb. 14 Rally leads to Presidential Election

Mustaqbal Movement leader Saad Hariri said Friday the mass rally that marked the third anniversary of his father”s assassination would be the “bridge leading to electing a president and putting an end to presidential vacuum.”

Hariri made the remark in a message of gratitude to the people who took part in the mass rally Thursday commemorating the third anniversary of ex-Premier Rafik Hariri”s assassination.

 

“You are the bridge leading to total sovereignty … you represent Lebanon”s will and your participation would block efforts aimed at hurling Lebanon into the unknown,” Hariri said in his message.

 

He concluded by stressing: “Yes to national dialogue, yes to constitutional legitimacy … No to internal feud and no return of Syrian hegemony.”
