
Landslide victory for March 14 in Engineering syndicate vote
The March 14 supporters won 123 delegates out of 131 in the Engineering syndicate election that took place on Sunday, or 93.9 % against 8 delegates only for the March 8 supporters.

The march 14 alliance includes Tayyar el Mustaqbal party , headed by MP Saad Hariri , the Lebanese Forces headed by Dr. Samir Geagea, Progressive Socialist party ( PSP) headed by MP Walid Jumblatt , Phalangist party headed by Amine Gemayel , National Liberal Party headed by Dory Chamoun, Democratic Left headed by Elias Atallah”s as well as Renewed Democracy headed by Nassib Lahoud.
The March 8 alliance includes , Hezbollah movement headed by Hassan Nasrallah , Amal movement headed by Speaker Nabih Berri and Free Patriatic Movement ( or FPM) headed by General Michel Aoun in addition to , the Lebanese Communist Party, The Syrian Social Nationalist Party (or SSNP),The Baathist party, Lebanese Democratic Party, Lebanese Unification Movement, Alawite Youth Movement and the Marada party.
This significant victory for the ruling majority according to local observers , reflects the mood of the majority of the Lebanese who are tired of the destabilization of the country by the Iranian and Syrian backed Hezbollah -led opposition , which is referred to as March 8 alliance.
