PLO Accuses FPM of Victimizing Palestinians

Palestine Liberation Organization representative to Lebanon Abbas Zaki on Tuesday criticized Free Patriotic Movement leader Gen. Michel Aoun for spreading rumors about alleged plans to naturalize Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.

“We stress on the fact that the Palestinian People would accept nothing less than returning to Palestine,” Zaki told reporters after meeting Premier Fouad Saniora.

 

He made the remark in answering a question about a campaign launched by Aoun against an alleged plan to naturalize Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.

 

Zaki accused the FPM of seeking to “victimize the Palestinians.”

 

He urged all factions to “support our quest to liberate Palestine instead of plotting against the Palestinians.”
