Hajj Hassan Calls for “Deterring” Hizbullah

Free Shiite Movement leader Sheikh Mohammed Hajj Hassan on Thursday accused Hizbullah of “barbaric practices … that threaten the mere Lebanese entity.”

 

Hajj Hassan called for “deterring” Hizbullah, especially in light of an attack by Hizbullah partisans Wednesday evening against a police patrol in the Shiite town of Qmatiyeh, east of Beirut.

 

He also expressed regret for Free Patriotic Movement leader Gen. Michel Aoun”s “slide into lies.”
