Suleiman For the Rule of Law and Justice

Army Commander Gen. Michel Suleiman said Saturday the Lebanese people want the constitutional institutions to resume their “effective national role.”

Such a return to constitutional authorities opens the door to achieving economic growth and development, he added.

 

Such a trend, Suleiman added, “leads to building the state of law, justice and equality.”

 

The general, addressing a conference on military medicine, said accomplishments by the military are “a ray of hope in darkness.”

 

The army, he said, is “determined on proceeding with its national missions … and would allow no one to target the nation”s unity and its civic peace.”
