Minister Mouawad meets with US officials in Washington

 

Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs Nayla Mouawad visited Washington this week, during which she met with senior American officials.

 

Mouawad met with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and is scheduled to meet with US Vice President Dick Cheney and other senior officials at the White House and State Department, in addition to members of the US Congress of Lebanese descent.

 

Mouawad also will meet with New York congressman Gary Ackerman, chairman of the House Sub-Committee on Middle East and South Asia, and members of the  Lebanese community in Washington, DC.
