Solana: Lebanon’s weakness endangers the region
The European Union’s Common Foreign and Security Policy Representative Javier Solana told the Saudi daily Okaz that the whole world is interested in finding a solution to the political crises in Lebanon and the Arab world.
“Lebanon, as a weak country, will endanger the whole region,” Solana said.
“The situation in Lebanon is a concern for the whole region. Not only is the Arab community making efforts to find a solution, but the EU, the US and Russia are also concerned about it.”
“The EU is consistently raising the Lebanon issue with our partners and those negotiating with us,” Solana said.
