Moussa warns any party against causing damager
Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa said that Lebanon has reached a crucial stage.
“Any Lebanese party that causes damage to the situation will be held responsible and bear the consequences,” Moussa said, commenting on the latest clashes and confrontations that erupted in Lebanon after the singing of the Doha Agreement.
Moussa had discussed earlier with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak the latest developments in the Arab world and the results of the joint Arab effort over Lebanon.
He also informed Mubarak of the results of his visit to Damascus after the election of Lebanese President Michel Sleiman.
Moussa called for taking lessons from the success of Arab efforts made over Lebanon and refused to comment on developments on the level of Syria-Egyptian or Syrian-Saudi relations.
“Some of the problems facing the Arab world are due to inter-Arab relations,” Moussa noted.
