Houry for Arab Help in Beirut Security
MP Ammar Houry has said Mustaqbal Movement”s decision to suspend contacts on forming the new cabinet is a clear message regarding efforts to terrorize Beirut citizens.
"Large numbers of families cannot return to their homes," Houry, who represents Beirut at Parliament, said in a television interview on Wednesday.
Houry called for "withdrawing gunmen, closing party offices that hatched recently and halting attacks against innocent citizens."
He said if the army and security forces cannot enforce law and order in Beirut, then "Arab help should be sought."
