MP Allouch: Security component of the Doha Agreement must be implemented
MP Mustafa Allouch of the Future Movement said that the bloc is suspending its participation in the consultations over the government until attacks against citizens in Beirut are brought to an end.
“Those behind these aggressions are well known,” Allouch told ANB Television. “People with influence over them are participating in the negotiations over the government,” he added.
Allouch stressed the need to implement the entire Doha Agreement, especially the security-related aspects.
He also said that the Future Movement is not obstructing the work of Prime Minister Fouad Siniora and said that, after consulting with its allies in the March 14 coalition, it had delivered a list of candidates for the government.
“Neither the Future Movement, nor the majority are obstructing the establishment of the government,” Allouch declared.
