Hariri Urges Beirut Citizens to Return to their Homes
Mustaqbal Movement leader Saad Hariri on Friday urged citizens of Beirut displaced by recent violence to return to their homes, pledging that security forces would protect them.
Hariri, in a statement, said: "We urge citizens in general, and Mustaqbal Movement partisans in particular, to return to their homes because security agencies would interfere immediately to tackle any threat to citizens and their properties."
He urged partisans to practice "maximum self-restraint and avoid responding to any provocative act … and to fully cooperate with the army and security forces."
