Saniora: Aoun Seeking Compensation for Lost Presidency
Prime Minister-designate Fouad Saniora has attacked Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun, accusing him of challenging President Michel Suleiman”s quota in the new cabinet in an effort to compensate for losing the presidency.
Saniora said Aoun”s demand for a cabinet seat was because he "thinks he represents the Christians in Lebanon instead of the Lebanese President."
"He (Aoun) believes that since he did not become president than he should receive compensation for his (job) loss," Saniora said.
