Heavy Measures at Justice Palace after Man Tries to Enter with Sniper Rifle
A sniper rifle was found hidden in a man”s car as he tried to enter the Justice Palace in Beirut last week, a news report said Wednesday.
The pan-Arab daily Al Hayat, which carried the report, said that when security forces tried to stop the man he pretended he was a lawyer without showing his I.D.
He then used the same entrance to get out, the daily added.
Strict security measures have since been taken in and around the Justice Palace and signs posted at both entrances forbidding any person from entering the public institution without showing his I.D. and going under thorough search.
