Miliband calls for government formation as soon as possible
British Foreign Minister David Miliband said that the situation in Lebanon is still fragile. “There is an urgent need to establish the government as soon as possible.”
“I expressed to President Michel Sleiman during my last visit to Lebanon Britain’s strong support for him and for PM Fouad Siniora,” Miliband said.
“This support includes 4 million pounds sterling for the Lebanese security forces because of their importance in restoring the people’s trust in the armed forces,” he added.
