MP Kabbara prioritises cabinet formation to control security
MP Mohammed Kabbara of the Tripoli Bloc denounced the continued disruptions of the new government formation, adding that it only led Lebanon further into a very dangerous zones.
“The facts have proved what we say about the parties that impede the formation of the government. These are no longer just accusations… it has become clear that the other team does not want a government, nor do they want to revert to state institutions to address the worsening crisis,” he said on Sunday.
Kabbara added that the absolute priority was now to complete the government formation, noting that blocking the path exacerbated the “explosive security situation” in the northern city of Tripoli and the rest of Lebanon.
