Geagea: Policy Statement Should Not Include Vague Items
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said Thursday the cabinet”s policy statement "should not include any vague items."
"If they cannot be clear, better not include them in the policy statement," Geagea told a delegation from the Zghorta province that visited him at his residence in Meerab.
The Lebanese people”s joy could only be thorough "when prisoners are freed from Syrian jails and when those who sought refuge in Israel return to their homes," Geagea added.
"It is not acceptable that some Lebanese are happy and others are sad," he stressed.
He recalled that he had proposed launching national dialogue prior to the cabinet”s policy statement because that would help tackle "thorny issues."
