No longer the weapons of the Resistance, but those of Iran
Mufti of Mount Lebanon Sheikh Mohammad Ali al-Jouzou said there is no longer a “real Resistance” but militias aggressing people. “It is obvious that the weapons are being used for political blackmail,” he said.
Mufti Al-Jouzou noted that while the July war led to the destruction of Lebanon and resulted in political and economic damages, “The [Resistance] weapons finished off what was left.”
He was hinting at the invasion of Beirut, the Moutain, and security incidents at the Bekaa and North Lebanon by the opposition.
“These weapons were directed against the inside and have led to the explosion of the country,” Al-Jouzou declared.
He also suggested that Hezbollah changes the color of its banner into red, “because the ministerial statement has become stained with the bloods of innocent civilians.”
Muftai Al-Jouzou was hinting at people killed during Hezbollah’s invasion to Beirut, the Mountains and security incidents.
“We are betting today on the minister of Interior to redress the situation, for the security of the country and the people is the responsibility of the army and Internal Security Forces,” Mufti Jouzou noted.
“Beirut and Tripoli must be protected by the army and the ISF from gangs describing themselves as being the opposition.”
He also noted that these gangs are trying to protect their weapons through resorting to forces and also seeking to provide their decisions with a political cover through the ministerial statement.
“The weapons are no longer the weapons of the Resistance, but those of Iran,” Jouzou declared, while noting that it is being used to impose the will of one faction on the others through threats, violence and assassinations.
