Lebanon’s Tourism Minister on Tuesday said his visit to Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea was part of his visits to all Lebanese authorities.
Minister Elie Marouni said he and Geagea had discussed “all issues of concern to the Lebanese, particularly issues relating to the Ministry of Tourism.” The meeting also covered all major national issues, especially those of Zahle, and the need for a “unified, lasting vision of joint cooperation.”
On rumors that the ministerial statement may be released on Tuesday or Wednesday, Marouni said that the countdown to the drafting of a statement had begun but declined to set a deadline.
