Political speeches in Lebanon have never reached this level of decadence
The Central Bureau of National Coordination on Tuesday said that it is not normal to convert the current dialogue in the parliament over the vote of confidence into a threat, and it criticized those who obstructed Lebanese political life and democratic processes for the past three years.
The bureau said in a statement that political speeches in Lebanon have never reached this level of decadence, especially the reactions of March 8 and Hezbollah MPs.
“These positions came from a totalitarian education, which aims to keep people in a permanent state of alert,” the statement read.
The statement added that the Resistance’s illegitimate weapons led to the country’s crisis and that the opposition is using “offensive tactics aimed to cover their crimes against Lebanon and its people over the past three years.”
The statement concluded by praising March 14 MPs’ work regarding the ministerial statement and the parliamentary debates.
