Geagea refuses to accuse anyone in Tripoli explosion
Head of the Lebanese Forces Executive Council Samir Geagea refused to accuse any party of being behind the explosion in Tripoli on Wednesday morning, which killed 18 people, including soldiers, and wounded around 40.
“We will wait for the investigation results, because unlike the previous times, there is no clear evidence, and the event is ambiguous,” Geagea told Future News Television.
Geagea also expressed his sympathy with the people of Tripoli and the victims’ families, and sent his special condolences to the Army Command. “Nothing explains murdering people this way,” Geagea said.
