Consensus was a clear message to criminals
Minister of Justice Ibrahim Najjar on Saturday said that the cabinet reached consensus and will carry out its duties concerning the security dossier and will totally support the Lebanese state along with the Defense Higher Council.
He told Future News television that Lebanese parties reached consensus because of the national unity government, and this would be a message for the criminals.
He added that President Michel Sleiman and his Syrian counterpart Bashar Al- Assad discussed many issues that were not included in the summit’s agenda.
He called for differentiating between the arrested person, the convicted and the missing.
He concluded that the Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Mouallem’s speech about the mass graves and the Lebanese detained and missing in Syrian prisons dossier proved that the solution would be difficult.
