Jordan”s Foreign Minister in Beirut
Jordan”s Foreign Minister Salahuddin Bashir flew into Beirut on Sunday for talks with Lebanese officials on bilateral relations.
Bashir, talking to reporters at Beirut”s Rafik Hariri Airport, said he would deliver a message from King Abdullah of Jordan to President Michel Suleiman.
Bashir said he would hold talks with Lebanese officials on Monday on "bilateral and regional issues."
His talks, in addition to Suleiman, would include Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Premier Fouad Saniora, and Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh.
The talks would also cover "Arab, regional and international topics," he added.
He said Jordan was satisfied with outcome of Suleiman”s talks in Syria.
