If Abu Jamra wants an office in the Serail he must rejoin March 14
Lebanese Forces MP Farid Habib dismissed opposition demands that former general and current Deputy Prime Minister Issam Abu Jamra be given an office in the Grand Serail, and said that the March 8 coalition “will not take by force what it has failed to take peacefully.”
“If General Abu Jamra wishes to have an office in the Serail, he has to rejoin the March 14 alliance and his Greek Orthodox colleagues in the cabinet,” Habib said on Tuesday.
“Everybody knows that General Abu Jamra was a severe critique of MP Michel Aoun’s devastating policy for the Christians back in 1986, which resulted in the emigration of more than a million Lebanese.”
