Hezbollah is rewarding the FPM for acting as a cover
Deputy Kataeb Head Salim Sayegh welcomed every meeting held between Lebanese politicians.
He said he wished that Head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun would have started his electoral meetings in Kesrouan in order to study his popularity and his position for the 2009 elections.
“Does he believe that citizens will grant him their votes as they did in 2005 elections?” he added.
He also said that Hezbollah was rewarding the Free Patriotic Movement because it helped the party obstruct the work of state institutions and because it is acting as a cover for Hezbollah’s hotly-disputed arsenal.
Sayegh said that during his visit to the South on Sunday, Aoun was honored for some achievements he did not make himself.
He added that Aoun calling for an expansion of the deputy prime minister’s powers was a way to create conflicts between Christians, and it insulted all former deputy prime ministers.
