Mufti Qabbani Backs Tripoli Reconciliation
Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Qabbani on Tuesday declared support for the Tripoli reconciliation calling for a similar march across the country.
Qabbani also said the reconciliation is "evidence that claims about fundamentalism and terror in the north had always been a conspiracy by foreign forces to justify intervention in Lebanon”s affairs."
"The reconciliation initiative launched by Mustaqbal Movement leader Saad Hariri in cooperation with Tripoli leaders is the beginning of a new era … that bolsters the march of the strong, capable and just state," Qabbani said.
