Moussa in Beirut for National Dialogue Talks
Arab league Secretary general Amr Moussa flew in Monday to take part in National Dialogue talks sponsored by President Michel Suleiman.
Moussa, talking to reporters at Beirut”s Rakik Hariri International Airport, said the league”s role is to narrow the gap separating the various Lebanese factions.
The dialogue, scheduled for Tuesday at the Baabda Palace, is "an additional important step along the march to a lasting settlement in Lebanon," Moussa said.
Moussa is to hold a series of meetings on Monday prior to attending the dialogue session scheduled for 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
