No Deals at the Expense of Principles and Values
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea on Monday vowed that his party would take part in national dialogue "but not to work out deals at the expense of principles and values in defense of which we lost martyrs."
Dialogue, would be to "proceed with what they (martyrs) had started."
Geagea made the remarks at his residence in Meerab to partisans, families of martyrs and relatives of Lebanese citizens held in Syrian jails.
Geagea emphasized on the need to recreate the "state and spread the sole authority of its legal institutions throughout all the Lebanese territories."
He called for demarcating the borders with Syria "including in the (Israeli-occupied) Shebaa farms, because such a demarcation, from the international law perspective, provides the legal guarantee to safeguarding the Lebanese entity."
