Maronite Bishop Roland Abu Jawdeh said during a memorial mass for the “Lebanese Resistance Martyrs” that “everything could fall away except for love.”
Jawdeh added that people should forgive each other, and that those who asked for forgiveness were strong.
He called for national reconciliation and forgiveness, because he said that only the Lebanese people’s unity would save them in the face of regional and international attempts at instilling division.
Jawdeh added that everyone should uphold the legitimacy of the state.
