Syria Gave us More Names of Missing Citizens
Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar on Monday said he has received an updated list from Damascus of Lebanese citizens missing in Syria.
Najjar made the announcement to reporters after heading a meeting of officials assigned to follow up the issue of Lebanese citizens missing in Syria.
Najjjar emphasized on the "importance of participation in this effort by families of the missing citizens because they can provide the committee with the information and documents they have."
He spoke of "indications to seriousness of the negotiations" regarding the issue of missing citizens.
"We don”t want to lose hope in following up the issue with the Syrian judicial committee," Najjjar added.
