2009 Elections Will Determine Lebanon’s Future
Minister of Environment Tony Karam said that parliamentary elections in 2009 would determine Lebanon’s future.
Karam added that “unfortunately the people experienced the repercussions of making the wrong choice.”
During the Lebanese Forces’ annual conference in the United States, Karam said that Christian areas would “define the election results.” Karam also met with Assistant Secretary for Oceans, Environment and Science Claudia McMurray in Washington and discussed environmental issues.
