Saudi Grant Covers Vocational Studies
Minister of Education and Higher Studies Bahia Hariri said Thursday a Saudi educational grant has been expanded to cover vocational studies.
Hariri, talking to reporters after a meeting with Premier Fouad Saniora, said 23,754 students following vocational studies would benefit from the Saudi grant.
She urged students who had settled their registration fees to reclaim them from schools.
Saudi Arabia had granted Lebanon 44 million dollars to finance schools fees and cost of books for the scholastic year 2008-2009.
