Lebanon is still in danger
Kataeb party official Nadim Gemayel said on Monday that Lebanon was still in danger, despite the “temporary calm in the political arena.”
“The modern state has not been created yet,” Gemayel said, “This is one of our aims, and we are concerned the state’s authority does not yet extend across all 10,452 square kilometers [Lebanon’s area].”
Gemayel said that the Palestinian refugee camps were still beyond the control of security forces.
Gemayel also warned against “Iranian attempts to control the country via political, military, cultural and economical means.” He said that “the Lebanese are aware of the conspiracy and will thwart it.”
