Iran is Lebanon”s Vital Depth
Free Patriotic Movement leader Gen. Michel Aoun on Saturday said Iran is Lebanon”s "vital depth."
"Iran, to us, is a very important regional power. It has empowered us and participated in rebuilding Lebanon," Aoun told visiting students at his residence in suburban Rabiyeh, east of Beirut.
He pledged that his FPM would emerge victorious from the 2009 parliamentary elections "irrespective of what they do."
