Jouzo Asks Why Aoun Insists On Creating Sectarian Conflicts
Mufti of Mount Lebanon Sheikh Mohammad Ali al-Jouzo on Sunday criticized Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun’s visit to Tehran and questioned how Aoun had changed his position from being a supporter of Iraq to a supporter of Iran.
Jouzo added that Aoun had called for Syria and Hezbollah to be held to account before the United States Congress, however, he was now praising the role of both Syria and Iran.
“Why does Aoun insist on creating sectarian conflicts among the people of Lebanon through dividing the Christian community? Why are his allies continuously attacking Arab countries in favor of Iran?” Jouzo asked.
