Nasrallah-Hariri Meeting Stresses Differences are Political, Not Sectarian
Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblat said the meeting between Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Mustaqbal movement leader Saad Hariri "stresses that disagreement among the Lebanese is political and not sectarian."
Jumblat also told As Safir daily in remarks published Tuesday that Sunday”s meeting was a continuation of the Doha accord, adding that the talks give an extra push to the national dialogue which will ultimately lead to reconciliation.
Jumblat said the Nasrallah-Hariri talks are part of every politician keeping his political stance and heading to the parliamentary elections in a "civilized, peaceful and democratic way."
Asked by As Safir if he will meet Nasrallah soon, Jumblat said: "Maybe the meeting between me and the Sayyed requires some introductions."
But still the Druze leader did not mind meeting Nasrallah.
