Moussa Says Hariri-Nasrallah Talks Consolidate National Dialogue
The Arab League has welcomed a meeting between Mustaqbal movement leader Saad Hariri and Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
"This meeting is a positive initiative for Lebanon which consolidates the national dialogue and opens new horizons for Lebanon”s stability," the organization”s chief, Amr Moussa, said in a statement on Monday.
He also said that the talks held between Nasrallah and Hariri on Sunday "consolidate unity" among the Lebanese.
The landmark meeting was the first face-to-face encounter between the two leaders since the 2006 Hizbullah-Israel war.
