Gemayel for Live Coverage of National Dialogue
Phalange Party leader Amin Gemayel on Monday called for live coverage of the National Dialogue Conference to allow the people know what is happening regarding issues related to the nation”s future.
Gemayel, addressing a meeting of the party”s politburo, also expressed "concern over attempts to divert the dialogue from its basic target" which is discussing Hizbullah weapons and the national defense strategy.
Gemayel also warned against demands to expand the list of participants in the dialogue conference and adding topics to its agenda.
He said efforts to achieve reconciliation would only succeed if based on "adherence to the basic national principles that guarantee state rise and end duality of powers."
