Doha Agreement Should Not Be Violated
Democratic Gathering MP Akram Chehayeb said that March 14 opposed the enlargement of the dialogue table.
After meeting with Environment Minister Antoine Karam on Wednesday, Chehayeb said that the Doha agreement should not be violated through “any horizontal or vertical enlargement.” He also said that the Lebanese Forces-Progressive Socialist Party alliance was firm. “We have a critical accomplishment to do and we will work together as March 14 forces, with one political program and one candidate list,” he said.
Karam said that the national dialogue intended to discuss the fate of weapons, “but we think that all weapons should be in the hands of the state and under its supervision.”
