Al-Mustaqbal Report Is Based On Legal Files
In a press conference on Sunday, MP Mohammad Kabbara said that the report published in Al-Mustaqbal newspaper on Saturday, which he described as directly implicating the Syrian regime and some of its agents in Lebanon, was not a secret and was mostly based on legal files connected with Fatah al-Islam members.
Kabbara called on the Arab League to form an official investigating committee into the threats against the people of Lebanon, before transferring the issue over to the international community. He said that this committee should “reveal the real parties responsible for exporting terrorism and killing innocent persons in Lebanon and Syria.”
Kabbara also called on Saudi Arabia, which he said confronted terrorism and opened communication channels among different cultures, to support the formation of the Arab League committee.
