Judicial System Should Not Be Swayed By Political Debate
Minister of Justice Ibrahim Najjar said that the judicial system should be kept separate from political debate, and not be affected by it.
He added that the cabinet session on Thursday appointed judges to the Judicial Council as requested by former President of the Supreme Judicial Council Judge Antoine Kheir, because the council should not remain without judges.
He told Voice of Lebanon radio station on Friday that President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister Fouad Siniora were making efforts to make both administrative and judicial appointments.
