Saniora to Discuss Shebaa Farms in Doha
Premier Fouad Saniora flew into Doha on Sunday to take part in a U.N.-sponsored conference and discuss with the U.N. chief the Shebaa Farms issue.
Saniora is to discuss with U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon "steps needed" to facilitate withdrawal of Israeli troops from Shebaa Farms and placing the territory under the guardianship of the international organization pending border demarcation with Syria.
Saniora would also discuss with Ban implementation of UNSCR 1701 that ended a 34-day war between Hizbullah and Israel in the summer of 2006.
